There’s A New Pearl Jam Album On The Horizon

Pearl Jam are planning to start work on their 11th studio album very soon, it seems.

The grunge stalwarts are apparently set to knuckle down in the studio right after they wrap up a North American tour this November.

Speaking with Vice, bassist Jeff Ament revealed that “The band will probably try and get another record going in the next year.”

The Jam released their most recent LP, the fabulous Lightning Bolt, in October of 2013 and went on to headline the last ever Big Day Out festival the next year.

Since then, Eddie Vedder et. al. have been getting up to a number of various shenanigans. While Ament has been keeping himself busy building a skate park empire, and guitarist Mike McCready recently joined an Iggy & the Stooges tribute band, Vedder himself has been reuniting with his old supergroup Temple Of The Dog, advocating eloquently against war and keeping two-decade old promises to his fans.

Pearl Jam did unveil a brand new song, dubbed Moline, which they wrote backstage before a show in October of last year, but no word as to whether or not the tune might earn a place on their forthcoming LP.
