Brisbane based drummer and producer Isaac Cavallaro has recently stepped out from behind the skins for some solo work, off the back of performing alongside the likes of The Kite String Tangle, and Music Feeds has his second ever official release My Darling premiering for you right here.
With his first single Stolen Moments showcasing his effortlessly smooth electro-pop stylings (and racking up some solid airplay on Triple J and Triple J unearthed), Cavallaro returns with the sexy slice of low-key dance that is My Darling.
“Most of my time is spent playing drums with various artist I work with playing improvised or arranged music, but when there’s no gigs or rehearsals scheduled, I like to produce my own music,” Isaac tells us.
“It’s still a very young project right now and I’m just enjoying the freedom to create music on my laptop and have friends sing on them. The joy of seeing my niece and nephews dancing and enjoying my music is the best reward so I’m lucky in that anything else that comes from this project is a bonus…unless they grow to dislike my music, in which case I’m not sure what I’ll do then?”
