A Festival Called Panama Is Returning In 2016

Tasmanian festival A Festival Called Panama has announced that it will be returning to Lone Star Valley in 2016.

The festival celebrated its sophomore event last year and completely sold-out, hosting 1250 punters in its picturesque location over three days. The lineup included Sharon Van Etten and Bombino alongside local heroes The Cactus Channel and Ben Salter.

While the lineup is a huge part of any music festival, Panama is very much about the entire experience. Organisers promise freshly-brewed coffee, craft beers and yummy meals amongst other delicious things for the tastebuds. Don’t expect to hear the acts in huge festival tents either – on top of the beautiful mainstage, artists will play in canvas tents and candle-lit bars.

If that’s not enough to make you feel completely zen, there are morning lakeside yoga sessions and artisan markets for you to stroll through at your leisure.

No word yet on when to expect the lineup but you can grab your calendar and pen in the 11th, 12th and 13th of March – that’s when you’ll be required in beautiful Tasmania. Check out all the deets below.
