Your mum’s Christmas present just got sorted because perennial heartthrob Bryan Adams has announced an Australian tour for March of 2016.
Just days out from his kind-of controversial appearance at this year’s AFL Grand Final, the husky-voiced dreamboat has unveiled two arena dates in Sydney and Melbourne for his GET UP Tour, as well as a handful of dates for the A Day On The Green concert series.
Adams, who brought us such not-at-all-overplayed hits as Summer Of 69, Heaven and cheaters-anthem-in-disguise Run To You (bet your mum didn’t know that), will be joined by Aussie rock legends Baby Animals and The Superjesus for the Day On The Green shows this coming March in the Hunter Valley (NSW), Mount Cotton (QLD), McLaren Vale (SA) and Perth (Baby Animals Only).
Here’s hoping Baby Animals drummer Mick Skelton will be recovered in time to play these shows, following a devastating car crash on last week whilst on tour with his other project Thirsty Merc that claimed the life of the band’s stage manager and left Skelton in intensive care.
Yesterday, Sarah McLeod of The Superjesus shared the good news that Skelton is now awake in hospital and breathing on his own.
While in town, Adams will also play two headline arena performances at Sydney’s Allphones Arena and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. See tour dates and ticketing information below.
