Foals Announce 2016 Australian Headline Shows

Oxford indie-rockers Foals have locked in two Australian headline shows for January 2016, around their appearances at Falls Festival and Southbound over New Year’s.

Foals are ready to hit up some pretty huge venues in Sydney on 5th January and Melbourne on 7th January, for what will be their biggest Aussie headline shows to date.

Foals were in the country earlier this year promoting their latest album What Went Down. While the band performed a cover of Mark Ronson’s Daffodils for triple j‘s Like A Version during the trip, they also sat down with Music Feeds to discuss the story behind their newest full-length effort.

Foals were famously added to the 2014 Splendour In The Grass lineup after the festival’s headliner, Two Door Cinema Club, pulled out of the event.

Since then, the band have dropped What Went Down and cemented their place as one of the most talented live acts in the world with huge sets at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Catch Foals’ recent interview with Music Feeds below, alongside details of the band’s upcoming Australian headline shows.
