The Amity Affliction & A Day To Remember Expand Their Australian ‘Big Ass Tour’

After already selling out their Saturday December 19th show at Brisbane’s Riverstage, The Amity Affliction and A Day To Remember have just announced an extra “Big Ass” show on their upcoming Big Ass Tour, the heavy double bill returning to the 8,000 seater venue the following night for an encore performance.

Brisbane being the first stop on the tour, as well as a homecoming for The Amity Affliction, excitement was always high for the show. Still selling out such a large venue only goes to show the true pulling power of these two great acts, appearing on the same stages as Elton John and Cold Chisel. For The Amity Affliction this is a true milestone, with the sell out show capping off their 45 date tour across the US, UK and Europe in November and December.

Meanwhile, A Day To Remember are also keen to return to our shores, the tour being the first appearance the band has made here since their headlining slot at 2014’s Soundwave Festival. Speaking to triple j back in August when first news of the tour leaked, ADTR’s Jeremy McKinnon said of our great brown land that “Australia is our favourite place to play in the world so any excuse we can get to be there is great one.”

The extra show will also feature ongoing tour supports The Ghost Inside and Motionless In White, with tickets on sale at 10am on Friday October 9th from Live Nation and Big Ass Tour Official Website.

Telstra customer will have access to a special Telstra Thanks Pre-sale from 10am Tuesday October 6th until 10am Thursday October 8th with My Live Nation members also having access to yet another pre-sale commencing at midday on Thursday October 8th.

Tickets still remain for Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne shows and are on sale now. See details below
