Harbour Party NYE 2015 Lineup Announced

Sydney’s annual harbour-side New Year’s Eve debauch Harbour Party NYE has just announced a huge line-up of local talent, taking over Luna Park for some year ending festivities. With a front seat for the fireworks, great local music and best of all, dodgem cars – Harbour Party NYEhas all the ingredients for one hell of a New Years Eve party, albeit one you probably won’t remember too clearly.

With last year’s line-up they straddled a wide range of different styles, – everyone from The Stafford Brothers to Wave Racer appearing – 2015 is following a similar theme.

Topping the list of acts is Australia’s own Count of all things bounce Will Sparks, with indie-electro powerhouse Miami Horror, anthemic house hitmaker Nicky Night Time, Brisbane’s own banger slangers Odd Mob and even triple j’s Hack host and Client Liason‘s own slap bass president Tom Tilley, who’ll be flexing his disc slinging muscles, and others, at the event.

General Admission tickets go on sale at 10am Thursday 8th October, selling for $199+BF, which not only gets you all access to all the tunes, but also unlimited rides on Luna Park many attractions.

Mind you, you might want to avoid going on the Rotor after that fifth beer, if projectile vomiting on the person next to you isn’t your idea of a good time. Definitely go on the Mighty Mouse though, that shit will sober you right up as it teases throwing you off the tracks and into the harbour.

If you’re a fan of the finer things though, you can splurge on a VIP ticket, that grants you access to a prime viewing spot for the fireworks and a private deck with it’s own bar and food service, where you can swill champagne as you see in the new year, far away from the sweaty plebs.
