City And Colour Announces Intimate Acoustic Gigs For Aussie Fans This Month

City And Colour fans are in for a treat, with the man behind the name, Dallas Green, announcing two intimate sessions in Sydney and Melbourne later this month in the lead up to the release of his fifth studio album, If I Should Go Before You.

Green’s latest trip down under will be his fourteenth (!), and will see the muso make his way around the country to promote his new album, which Music Feeds contributor Elisa Parry called, “Yet another intricate and complex offering that won’t disappoint.”

On his upcoming trip, Green will be taking part in a Q&A with fans in Sydney on Monday, 19th October, and in Melbourne on Thursday, 22nd October. He’ll also be performing short acoustic sets for the lucky punters in attendance, who will get to hear new City And Colour songs in stripped-back form.

The only way to secure yourself entry to these intimate fan-only sessions is by pre-ordering If I Should Go Before You at www.getmusic.com.au from 4pm AEST Tuesday, 6th October, that’s today folks, until tickets are exhausted. No tickets will be sold for the sessions.

The location and time of the sessions will be provided to fans who do secure entry, and remember — it’s one ticket per order.

When Green arrives in Australia this month, it looks like he’ll also have another exciting announcement to make on Aussie soil.

“I’ve got some big news! I’m coming to see you on at the end of October,” he says. “And when I get there, I have some more news to announce. See you in two weeks!”

Green was last in Australia for Splendour In The Grass 2014, but he has already been announced on the monster bill for next year’s Bluesfest.
