Some Genius Recreated Blink 182’s ‘What’s My Age Again’ Video On GTA V

Remember when Blink 182 were better known for their hilarious videos and adolescent antics rather than public in-fighting, divorces and various lackluster side-projects? Well whoever made this video sure does, taking us back to the halcyon days of 1999 via its computer graphically re-imagined version of the classic What’s My Age Again video.

Using Grand Theft Auto V’s Rockstar Editor, a very talented fan has created a video-game version of the Blink clip, which, if you don’t remember, famously saw Mark, Tom and Travis running the streets full frontal.

While clearly inspired by the original though, this is not a shot for shot re-make, and there are some notable departures from the original video. Likely a homage to the game used to create it, the new clip is much more violent that its real world counterpart.

While the original did feature the boys having a few awkward run ins with pedestrians on their fun run, the GTA version sees the game’s maniacal hill billy Trevor straight up punching people out, as well as the trio bowling over their fair share of pixelated people.

It all reaches fever pitch at the end with a rather surprisingly violent twist to the original, although if you wanna find out what it is, you’re just going to have to watch the clip and compare it to the original, below.
