It’s guaranteed to be an excellent christmas this year because Bill Murray has lined-up a Netflix Christmas special featuring the likes of Miley Cyrus, Phoenix and Jenny Lewis.
Netflix have dropped the trailer for A Very Murray Christmas and it’s soundtracked by Miley Cyrus and Bill Murray singing a rendition of Let It Snow.
It seems like Murray will be pretty chuffed by the opportunity to sing with Cyrus. Earlier this year at Comic-Con he said, “Miley Cyrus is really fuckin’ good. She can really sing.
The Xmas special is set in New York’s Carlyle hotel and follows Murray as he prepares to host a live holiday special when a blizzard halts the production. Instead, they celebrate with a host of all star guests and anybody else who drops by. It’s not everyday that you have George Clooney, Amy Poehler and Chris Rock dropping by just to help celebrate the Chrissy.
The guest stars don’t stop there either. Maya Rudolph (very appropriate name for Christmas), Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera and Rashida Jones are also set to make appearances.
The special was directed by Sofia Coppola and is set to premiere on Netflix on 4th December. Murray and Coppola worked together on Lost In Translation which earned Murray and Oscar nomination for ‘Best Actor’.
