Sia‘s new collection of surefire musical perfection This Is Acting officially has a release date… and some creepy-ass cover art.
The Adelaide-bred tune-mason’s new LP – which is made up of songs originally written for other artists – will hit shelves on Friday, 29th January.
Headed up by bombastic lead single Alive, which was co-written by Tobias Jesso Jr. and originally intended for Adele, the follow-up to her 2014 critical and commercial smash 1000 Forms Of Fear will also feature tunes penned for the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna (before Sia shouted “Take-backsies!” and kept them for herself).
“I didn’t go in thinking ‘this is something I would say’. It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun,” she told NME back in February.
As well as getting ready to serve up her seventh studio effort, Sia is reportedly also set to direct a movie called Sister, written for and starring honorary mini-Sia, dancer Maddie Ziegler.
The pop star has even created a new Instagram account in honour of her new LP, which you can follow here: @SiaThisIsActing.
