You Could Soon Own A Dead Rock Star’s Clothes, Hair & Other Bizarre Personal Items Thanks To This Online Auction

John Lennon‘s hair. Elvis Presley‘s life insurance policy. Michael Jackson‘s dental mould. Kurt Cobain‘s cardigan. All of these random historical items and more could be yours thanks to a peculiar online auction that’s putting them all up for grabs.

As Rolling Stone reports, Julien’s Live is selling 350 truly bizarre pieces of rock n’ roll memorabilia to the highest bidder, from deceased legends like Jimi Hendrix, Frank Sinatra and Whitney Houston, to those still-living like Madonna and Prince.

Kurt Cobain fans should prepare for a bidding war, with the Nirvana frontman’s ratty green cardi that he donned for his famous MTV Unplugged appearance expected to fetch up to $60,000 at auction, while a lock of his hair is expected to go under the hammer for as much as $10,000.

And if you’re a special kind of creep who’s into collecting the hair of dead icons, then there’s also a snag of Beatles legend John Lennon’s up for sale as well, which is tipped to go for up to $30,000.

Looking for a special something to get the Michael Jackson fan who has everything? How’s about this genuine dental mould that was used to create his vampire fangs in the Thriller video? Or perhaps one of these terrifying life-sized figurines taken from his Neverland Ranch?

Or, if it’s Elvis who tickles your pelvis, then you can get your mits on tonnes of the King’s former personal effects, such as this Valium pill bottle, this prescription for muscle relaxants, or – oh – how about this state of the art LIFE INSURANCE POLICY.

And don’t worry, there’s also plenty of other #deadrockstarSWAG to satisfy your not-even-morbid shopping requirements, including Whitney Houston’s credit card application, one of Jimi Hendrix’s old Otis Redding records, and Jim Morrison’s original mugshot from his 1963 arrest for public intoxication.

With Christmas just around the corner, we can’t think of a better place to shop for that something special for your music-obsessed loved one.

Nope, not creepy at all.
