On February 1st, 2010, The Strokes announced on their official site that they’ve started recording their fourth album. It was also revealed that the album will be produced by award winning producer Joe Chicarelli, who has produced albums by U2 and Beck, and that they’ll be working with award winning engineer Gus Oberg. Fab Moretti stated that their yet untitled fourth album is slated for a September release.
This will be their first recording since 2006’s First Impressions of Earth.
