Chemical Brothers Release Details of New Album

The Chemical Brothers have announced that their new album, Further, will be released on June 7th. They’ve stepped things up this time out, with a film to accompany each track on the eight song album made specifically to match the audio.

The visual work has been completed by long-time collaborators Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall, and will be released on a special DVD version of the album. Smith – aka. Flat Nose George – has just completed work on the first episode of the forthcoming series of Doctor Who, and has been responsible for the visual backdrops seen at Chemical Brothers concerts since their beginnings in 1994.

An article on their official website describes Further as “the culmination of nearly two decades of psychedelic exploration, an immersive collection that finds The Chemical Brothers at their least-restrained and most-melodic best.”
