Josh Homme Is Raising Money To Help The Victims Of The Paris Attacks

Josh Homme has pledged to help the victims of last week’s devastating terror attacks in Paris.

The Eagles Of Death Metal co-founder is raising money for the victims and their families through his own charity, The Sweet Stuff Foundation, and has made a plea for donations.

“Thank you for a moment to pause. Now time to help,” the charity wrote on its official Twitter page. “Please donate. #paris #eodm #bataclan #dothesweetstuff”.

As Rolling Stone reports, all donations made to the group through til December 31st will go to the surviving families of those killed throughout the city, and those who give over $100 will also receive a limited edition “I Give” T-shirt.

Naturally, the cause is one very close to Homme’s heart, as 89 of the people who were killed in the Paris attacks were massacred inside an Eagles Of Death Metal concert at the city’s Bataclan theatre, including EODM merch manager, Nick Alexander.

Homme was not performing with the group at the time and has not spoken publicly since the horrific events. However, the band did release a joint statement of unity and love earlier this week.

Homme’s Sweet Stuff Foundation was established to help fund music programs for children and provide support to members of the music community and their families struggling with health issues and disabilities.
