Aussie rockers The Delta Riggs have had a huge year playing support for the Foo Fighters and You Am I as well as selling out their own headline tour but it seems they won’t be slowing down heading into 2016 announcing a bunch of shows for early next year.
The Summer In Space tour will see The Delta Riggs spread the love to regional areas, hitting up places like Warrnambool in Victoria and Launceston in Tasmania. It also includes sets at Festival Of The Sun in Port Macquarie and Mountain Sounds on NSW’s Central Coast.
They’re not heading out on the road alone either, also announcing that The Belligerents and Sydney band Wild Honey will be hitting up most of the shows with them. In Tasmania, locals The Violet Swells will step up to the plate in the other two band’s absence.
The boys have been touring solidly for most of 2015, honing their skills and gradually becoming a force to be reckoned with. If countless sold-out shows are anything to go by, they’re becoming one of the country’s favourite live acts and these shows will prove that to areas that may not get to see the band often.
