While everybody likes the idea of sharing the stage with Kendrick Lamar, it’s a pretty hard task to not look like a complete dunce when you’re next to one of the greatest rappers on earth.
Case in point – this fan who was pulled up during a Lamar show in Houston to rap to his track M.A.A.D City. While he is ridiculously confident, shouting to the crowd as if he’s the main event, when it comes to actually rapping he doesn’t know the words.
As soon as the track starts it becomes completely apparent that this guy has no idea what the words are and he doesn’t even really try to pretend. Lamar says, “Do you know the words?” to which he replies, “I don’t give a fuck, I’m doing my own thing.”
He freestyles his way through the whole performance with varying results as they crowd moves between laughing and cheering. He gets full points for dedication though as even Kendrick is impressed by his level of intensity, stepping to the side to play his hype man.
Unfortunately his rap skills leave a little to be desired, but when did that ever hold anybody back?
