Australian Island Festival Castaway Announces Lineup For 2016 Return

With two sold-out shindigs under its belt, Aussie island festival Castaway has announced two more instalments for February 2016, packing top-notch local producers like What So Not, Golden Features and Sable.

Castaway, a one-day event, is set to return to Western Australia’s Rottnest Island next month, where it will also host Perth producer Tina Says. Promising beers on the beach and crisp blue waters to compliment the tunes on offer, it’s all going down on 21st February.

Thanks to its success in WA, Castaway is also set to make its Queensland debut in February, with all of WA’s acts as well as Dune Rats and rappers Feki and Gill Bates thrown in for good measure.

The Queensland edition of Castaway will take place at the luxury waterfront bar Sandstone Point on Bribie Island, a seaside peninsula about an hour and a half from Brisbane.

Previous festivals have featured sets from the likes of Sticky Fingers, George Maple and Bootleg Rascal. Catch this year’s lineups alongside ticket details, below.
