Hear Kanye West’s Full Kendrick Lamar Collab, ‘No More Parties In L.A.’

Kanye West has unveiled his full Kendrick Lamar collaboration, No More Parties In L.A.

The track is expected to feature on Yeezy’s forthcoming album, Swish, which is due to be released on February 11th.

The rapper previously teased a portion of the track alongside another new song dubbed Real Friends, as well as announcing the resurrection his 2010 G.O.O.D. Fridays tradition, which would see him release a brand new song for free, every – you guessed it – Friday.

However, the whole thing seems to have gotten off to a bit of a false start, with No More Parties In L.A. not appearing online til overnight.

“I soooo didn’t mean to lie to you guys about GOOD FRIDAYS coming back. Kanye flew to Italy for a Yeezy Season 3 fitting,” Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian tweeted on Saturday after the promised #EveryFriday track didn’t show up. “He flew [baby] Noah out with him so he could finish No More Parties In L.A. & wrote 90 bars on the plane there!!!”

“I know some fans said I’d never rap like this again / But the writer’s block is over / MC’s cancel your plans / A 38-year-old ate your role, ” Yeezy lyrically unfurls in the latter half of the 6-minute track, long after Lamar has left the party (presumably showcasing some of the words he penned whilst airborne).

No More Parties In L.A. appears to deal with the very Kanye-centric issues of fatherhood, fame, and the orange spray-tan stains he just can’t seem to get out of his sheets.

Lamar helps serve up the song’s melodic hookery.
