Kanye West Went On An Epic And Bizarre Twitter Tirade Last Night, Here’s A Recap

Kanye West‘s Twitter is one of the most entertaining things around right now, acting as a transparent insight into his new album WAVES, formerly known as SWISH.

That album name only changed yesterday, ruffling fellow-rapper Wiz Khalifa‘s feathers who tweeted, “Please don’t take the wave,” followed by, “Max B is the wavy one. He created the wave. There is no wave without him.” Just as an FYI, Max B was a harlem rapper whose rapping style was associated with the “wave” and referred to as “wavy”.

If you didn’t already know, Kanye is not a big fan of criticism so he raised Khalifa’s seven tweets with a 27 tweet rampage. In a series of now deleted tweets, Yeezy accused Khalifa of “stealing all his shit” from Kid Cudi, said no one has “ever listened to one of your albums all the way through,” and also noted that if it wasn’t for him Khalifa would’ve never gotten together with Amber Rose and thus would’ve never had a child.

It seemed Ye was most upset by the fact that Khalifa referred to Kim Kardashian as “KK”.”Like oh that’s Ye and I can put his wife’s initials on my Twitter,” he tweeted but it turned out it wasn’t actually Kim Kardashian he was referring to. “KK is weed fool,” Khalifa quipped back.

Just as it looked like the shit storm couldn’t brew anymore, Amber Rose, who has dated both of them weighed in. “Are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a**hole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch,” she tweeted. Neither have responded.

Since then, Kanye has somewhat apologised. “What’s sad is I love Wiz and I love all all my brothers and all people,” he said but then added that Khalifa lost two million Twitter followers after the rant. “I’m happy that I now know that KK means weed… please excuse the confusion,” he also added.

The good news is the storm is over and he’s back to working on WAVES. It’s due to drop 11th February and will be marked by a live premiere at Madison Square Gardens.
