Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Says Collaborating With Eminem Is “Still A Dream” Of His

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor revealed he would like to one day work with Eminem, in an interview with Sweden’s RockSverige.

When asked about current projects and collaborations, Taylor said, “I’ve a couple of that I’m gonna be a part of right now, and I won’t say any names, but it’s even more diverse than the stuff that I’ve done before.”

“I mean, there’s a lot of people. Everybody from Trent Reznor – I would love to work with Trent – to… I was just thinking about this the other day… I would love to do something with Eminem. I would love to trade some stuff back and forth with him, because I love the way he writes and the way he flows and the attitude; you know, the emotion that’s in it… Will it ever happen? Probably not. But, you know, it’s still a dream.”

“I never thought I’d get to work with Dave Grohl, so you just never know,” Taylor added, referring to his recent involvement in the supgergroup Teenage Time Killers, which also featured Grohl alongsideNick Oliveri from Queens of the Stone Age, and Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba.

Of Slipknot’s recent work, Taylor said their next album will be a double album that listens as a Slipknot version of The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
