Here’s Your Chance To Become The Newest Member Of M83

Wanted: Female Singer & Keyboardist

Are you looking for a role in the exciting music industry? Are you an accomplished singer and keyboard player with a valid passport? Do you have two x chromosomes? If you answered yes to all of those questions, then this could be the dream job you’ve been waiting for!

French electronic band M83 have parted ways with their singer/keys wizard Morgan Kibby and the group has launched an open call for musos keen to replace her.

“Back in 2011, I opened up the search for a musician to join the M83 tour,” band figurehead Anthony Gonzalez announced in a post on their official website. “That turned out to be Jordan Lawlor, who played with us all over the world and is still in the band!”

And this time, it could be you.

M83 are holding open auditions for someone to tour with them as Kibby’s replacement throughout the rest of 2016.

But there are a couple of provisos.

You’ll need to be available to join M83 rehearsals in Los Angeles in March, plus be good to travel and work between April and December of 2016, and own a valid passport for the next two years.

And sorry ex-cons, you also need to have no criminal history that “may cause you to be denied entry to another country”.

So if you tick all of those boxes, and also happen to be a lady with a great voice who can also wail on the keys, then congratulations! You could be in with a shot to perform with M83 at upcoming international music festivals like Coachella, Governors Ball and Bonnaroo.

But just to be safe, maybe don’t quit your day job until they get back to you.
