Mad Blink-182 Fan Is Hella Impatient, Goes Ahead And Decides What Their New Music Will Sound Like

Blink-182 have been in the studio recording their comeback album and the suspense is KILLING US.

The pop-punk trio are hard at work on their first LP with Matt “Alkaline Trio” in place of their founding brother and current prodigal son Tom DeLonge, and have been posting a number of teaser videos showing the band members tracking snippets of new songs in the studio.

But one mega-fan couldn’t take the teasing anymore, and attempted to join all of the musical dots together in a DaVinci Code-style quest for new Blink music.

YouTuber Mikkel Lorenz aka pop-punk’s very own Nostradamus has taken a few of the isolated instrumental and vocal recordings we’ve heard from inside the Dude Ranch and fused them together to create what could be part of a brand new song.

Is this what we can expect from Blink’s new music?

Probably not, but you can listen below anyway.

Meanwhile, Blink-182’s John Feldmann-produced comeback record is expected to drop sometime this year.

Speaking just a few weeks ago, Travis described the album as sounding “great” and couldn’t contain his excitement about the positive studio vibes.

“It’s awesome because we’re all actually in the studio, where we couldn’t get that with the old lineup. It was impossible to get all three of us in the same studio… I think with a band you can’t just phone it in. You gotta be there,” he said.
