Here’s What’s Delaying Kanye West’s New Album ‘The Life Of Pablo’

UPDATE 14/02/16 6:15pm: Kanye West has finally released The Life Of Pablo, here’s where to get it.

Original Story: The release date for Kanye West‘s new album The Life Of Pablo has come and gone, so Yeezy has taken some time out to explain the delay while also clearing up who this ‘Pablo’ character really is.

As it turns out, the main reason for T.L.O.P.‘s delay is one of its featured artists, Chance The Rapper. Posting to Twitter to explain, Kanye tells fans…

Also taking to Twitter, Chance explains that he fought really hard to get Waves (which he features on) onto the final tracklist for The Life Of Pablo, which already featured him on its opening track, Ultra Light Beam. Here are his comments and the album’s final potentially final tracklist:

As for the true identity of Pablo, it’s not Pablo Picasso or Pablo Escobar — it’s none other than Paul the Apostle, who despite not being one of The Twelve Apostles is said to have been a good mate of Jesus Christ. Here’s how Kanye explains the connection…

After getting all inspirational, Kanye tells his followers that he’s USD$53 million in debt, while also inadvertently creating what could be one of the most memorable Kanye-isms of 2016, the perfect “all memes are wrong”.

While the world has been waiting for The Life Of Pablo to finally drop, Kanye has also shared the album track 30 Hours (below), which features a sample of Arthur Russell’s Answers Me.

The Life Of Pablo was originally set to be released on Friday, 12th February, shortly after its debut at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion line launch at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where Kanye also unveiled a pretty weird Only One video game he’s been working on which is based around his mother’s ascension into heaven.
