M83, AKA Anthony Gonzalez, have finally announced a follow up to their 2011 album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming (which included universally-loved banger Midnight City). Their seventh studio album, Junk, is set to drop on Friday 8 April, and to celebrate M83 are heading to Australia.
The first single from the awaited album is Do It, Try It, an upbeat electronic track sprinkled with piano chords and rocky elements. Hear it below.
The album release isn’t the only exciting news M83 had this morning. They also announced they will be back in Australia soon. Like – really soon. In May they will touch down to play headline shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
M83 will be joined by super successful Melbourne producer Japanese Wallpaper who’s just been going up and up since releasing his debut single, Breathe In (ft Wafia).
