Tassie Punks Luca Brasi Announce Third Album Due April 29th

Tasmania’s self described “hardest working and most endearing melodic punks” Luca Brasi have announced they will be delivering their third LP If This Is All We’re Going To Be Friday 29th April via Melbourne independent label Poison City Records.

They’ve certainly earned the ‘hardest working’ part of their title that’s for sure, having spent the last six months on a wall-to-wall sold out single tour around the country. With the two new singles released as part of the tour attracting praise and adoration from triple j and community radio alike, the band have come off the back of the frenetic festival season eager for more.

Promising to be the band’s most feel good entry to date, we’ve been given a taste of what’s to come from the album with yet another single Anything Near Conviction. Premiering on triple j, frontman Tyler Richardson describes the track as “a kick in the arse to do better in life and for those you love. A not-so-gentle reminder that you gotta give everything you can.”

Along with the first two singles Aeroplane and Cascade Blues demonstrate how far the band have come on the new album. Building off previous albums Extended Family and By A Thread, If This Is All We’re Going To Be cracks the band’s formula of melody, self reflective lyrics and punk rock ideals.

If This Is All We’re Going To Be is officially out Friday 29th April, available to preorder now on LP/CD & Limited Edition bundle packs via Poison City Records.
