Foals have been super sneaky and shared a surprise one-off track called Rain on Soundcloud.
Minimalist and powerful, the track features a barebones keys and vocals approach, with Yannis Philippakis really belting out on the old vocal chords.
The single will be one of the many tasty offerings released on Record Store Day on April 16. It will join Foals’ cover of Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson’s Daffodils, which will feature as the B-side, and which Foals played for Like A Version last year.
Rain was originally recorded during sessions for Foals’ most recent album What Went Down, released in 2015.
Foals toured Oz in January in a slew of energetic performances that sent fans ca-razy.
