Kingswood Bassist Jeremy ‘Mango’ Hunter Leaves Band

Melbourne rock band Kingswood have officially parted ways with their bassist Jeremy ‘Mango’ Hunter.

The band posted a photo of Hunter to Facebook last night announcing the news, and farewelling a “tremendous man”.

“We will cherish the many wonderful experiences and memories we have shared together,” the added. At this stage no replacement bassist has been announced.

A couple of weeks ago, Kingswood were announced to be playing the new regional festival Moonee Tunes festival in Victoria with Tkay Maidza and The Delta Riggs.

The band also have other dates lined up for March and April, including three music festivals, so here’s thinking they’ll get onto a replacement quick smart.

Kingswood released their solid debut album Microscopic Wars in 2014 which saw reviews praising the band for their fusing of stadium rock numbers, blues and indie influences.
