We’re still waiting on that new Flume album but he’s keeping us occupied in the meantime with a few things and the latest is a Spotify playlist of his favourite songs right now.
The Spotify ‘Essentials’ playlist is jam-packed with 63 tracks including a few cheeky Flume songs, because there’s nothing wrong with tooting your own horn occasionally.
Unfortunately there are no new Flume songs hidden in there (we looked really hard) but there are some great jams in there. He’s included his mates Chet Faker and Disclosure as well as traversed genres moving from Jeremih and Missy Elliot to Jamie xx and Bicep.
There’s a few old tunes in here but also plenty of new ones so you’ll no doubt discover a gem or two while you listen.
Apparently he’ll be updating it weekly so you can follow and check back each week to see if he’s digging anything new. We’re hoping that his forthcoming second album Skin will be added eventually.
