Watch Chris Hemsworth Attempt To Decipher The Indecipherable Lyrics To Rihanna’s ‘Work’

While Chris Hemsworth has been working in Hollywood for years and years now, he still has one of the thickest Aussie accents in the game which is an excellent thing when it comes to reading out the lyrics to Rihanna‘s Caribbean-inspired Work.

The reggae-flavoured track features a chorus that many have struggled with because of lyrics that include lines like, according to genius.com, “Meh nuh cyar if him Hurt, hurt, hurt, hurt, hurting.”

While on UK radio station Radio 1, Hemsworth was asked to read out the lyrics to the song and while he didn’t really figure out what it all actually means he was inspired by it nonetheless.

“It just drummed up a whole lot of feelings, emotions and past experiences,” he told host Nick Grimshaw.

“It makes you just want to get to work, doesn’t it? Hear that, kids? Get a job.”

Rihanna said in a recent interview with Vogue that, “You get what I’m saying, but it’s not all the way perfect.”

“Because that’s how we speak in the Caribbean.”

There’s nothing Caribbean about the way that Hemsworth speaks but it’s amusing watching him read through the lyrics as if he’s telling an iconic Aussie story on Play School.
