Black Stone Cherry Joins Steel Panther Tour

Kentucky rockers Black Stone Cherry have just announced they will be moving their Australian tour forward a week so they can join up with their good friends Steel Panther.

Joining the glitter-licious heavy metal outfit as main support, all tickets already purchased for Black Stone Cherry shows will be honoured at Steel Panther shows in each respective city. All at no extra cost to the fans who now get to see two great bands for the price of one. Talk about a bargain.

Arriving french from their UK tour where they played to huge crowds in venues such as the Glasgow Hydro and London’s Wembley Arena, Black Stone Cherry will be going straight from plane to stage to join Steel Panther.

Their first time touring Australia, coming down under in support of their fifth studio album Kentucky, the band’s heady mix of early Metallica style heavy metal, drawling southern rock and blues is sure to go down a treat with local rock fans.

Speaking of the album’s title, lead singer and guitarist Chris Robertson said: “This album IS Kentucky!”

Full of pride he explained that, “everyone who plays on it is from Kentucky. It’s in their blood just like it’s in ours, and they added so much to the record.”

Tickets are on sale now, but in the meantime check out the video for single Soul Machine here with full tour details below.
