The Paper Kites are kicking off an Australian tour this June following the release of the brand new video for their twelvefour track, Renegade.
Celebrating the dynamic relationship between music and film, The Midnight Tour promises to be an immersive and aesthetically pleasing live experience. The tour will open at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney on the 23rd of June after which The Paper Kites will be heading to Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and finishing up in Adelaide on July 2nd.
But that’s not all folks. As part of a video trilogy that accompanies their critically acclaimed LP twelvefour, The Paper Kites, with some help from director Dan Hulting (Bon Iver), explore the transience of early morning and tell tales that are set between the hours of 12am and 4am.
Renegade is a cinematic delight, taking place in Le Cinequatic, an aquatic cinema broken into by a gang of young kids.
