Zefereli Unveils New Single ‘Stupid Goodbye’

Zefereli, the pet project of Alistar Richardson (ex-The Cairos) have a new single and it’s called Stupid Goodbye. The track is the first new stuff from the indie-pop five-piece, since their first EP Withdrawals.

Coming from a period where Richardson built a studio on his family’s farm in the Scenic Rim west of Brisbane, Stupid Goodbye seemingly catches the tranquil and awe-inspiring surrounds. Soft in every way, from the rising piano to simple guitars and the dreamy vocals of Richardson, the song is captures why the band describes itself as coming from “the dreams of children”.

Fellow Brisbane songster Clea also appears on this lullaby. That’s not where Richardson and Clea stop crossing though, as the two will catch up for a gig in London early next month. After that, Zefereli will return in August, performing shows around Australia as well as releasing the much anticipated follow up to Withdrawals.
