Watch The Birth Of Sydney’s Sweet Prince Mural In This Timelapse Video

ICYMI: Sydney is the proud owner of a pretty dope new mural honouring departed musical legend, Prince.

The genius piece of street art on the wall of 1 Speed Street in Liverpool depicts heaven’s new purple angel posed peacefully against a purple background as raindrops fall all around him.

And now its architect, New-Zealand born street artist and Prince super-fan Grahame Hoete (who goes by the name of Mr G.) has posted a short but very sweet clip showing how his masterpiece came together.

So if you love art, timelapse videos or just need another excuse to listen to Prince’s Purple Rain, check it out below.

Meanwhile, G is currently trying to raise money to fly to Prince’s hometown of Chanhassen, Minnesota to paint a 5-storey high tribute mural of The Purple One. If you want to help out with fundraising or have any vacant wall suggestions you can hit him up here.
