That’s right Dave Sitek, TV On The Radio guitarist and producer, as well as the man at the desk behind the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Foals has just been announced as the new bassist for Jane’s Addiction. Weird I know. Sitek, who will be writing and playing on the new Jane’s album, is more than just a ringer, being described by the band as ‘a new addition to the creative team.”
The yet to be titled release is on track for release midway through 2011, the band currently in the studio in Los Angeles. “Dave, Steve and I are fully immersed in the process of making modern music,” says Perry Farrell. “It has been a great experience thus far, and the results have so much potential.”
