The Drummer From The 1975 Has Broken His Shoulder

The 1975’s George Daniel has almost gone full Spinal Tap, as news came out today revealing the drummer has broken his shoulder.

Daniel apparently received the injury after slipping off the band’s tour bus, and is expected to recover in the coming months. At least he didn’t spontaneously combust or choke on someone else’s vomit.

Luckily for any fans out there worried about the band missing shows, frontman Matty Healy has made it clear that the band will be fulfilling all their scheduled tour dates, using a fill-in drummer while Daniel recovers. You know what they say, the show must go on.

Heading our way as part of this year’s Splendour In The Grass, the band are also set to play their own sideshows while they’re out here. Let’s hope Daniel is back behind the skins by them, ay.
