One Night Stand announces triple bill of Birds of Tokyo, Art vs Science and The Jezabels

Triple J’s One Night Stand has been all around Australia bringing the best of live aussie music to places that just don’t have regular access to great music.

This year the largest youth network will be visiting Tumby Bay in South Australia.

Tumby Bay is a tiny coastal town on the Spencer Gulf on the east side of the Eyre Penninsular – 45 km’s north of Port Lincoln and 700km’s from Adelaide by road.

With the remote portion of the tour definitely under their belt, the J’s announced online three of the bands which will be playing at the free all-ages gig on April 2nd.

Birds of Tokyo, Art vs Science and The Jezabels plus triple j Unearthed will be searching for the region’s best band to open the event.

Along with taking the music on the road to the Tumy Bay Triple J is also running a competition to send two people to the One Night Stand who’ve been caught up in one of the many natural disasters which have hit Australia in recent weeks. The winner has to be nominated by a friend.

If you want to play at the One Night Stand here’s more info.

Please note you need to enter the competition by Sunday March 13th.
