BANFF & Caitlin Park Unveil ‘My Love, My Lover’ Video, 2016 Tour Dates

Brisbane instrumentalist and singer BANFF and Sydney singer-songwriter Caitlin Park have announced that they’ll feature on a dual headlining tour in August 2016.

Off the back of their collaborative effort My Love, My Lover the two will play dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, featuring the debut live performance of their collaboration. The shows will also see BANFF and Park delve into their respective creative works, BANFF’s Future Self EP and Park’s album The Sleeper.

The tour announcement also comes with the release of the official music video for My Love, My Lover. The clip was directed by Stef Smith and follows a love story between a lost, lone figure of a man coasting through life in an emotionless state, until he meets a girl who saves him and shows him love.

The old couple dancing in the salon and the protagonists are real life couples, explained director Stef Smith in a statement. “I was really drawn to a sense of disconnection and wanted to explore the clip through the eyes of a protagonist who was kind of lost in his own world, until finally this beautiful glowing beacon of love draws him back to earth – his lover.”

UPDATE: Supports for the tour have been announced. North Arm joins them at Oxford Circus in Sydney, Braille Face at the Grace Darling in Melbourne and Brisbane’s Zefereli will be opening at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane.
