Earlier this month it was revealed that actress and occasional music video director Olivia Wilde had been tapped to helm the music video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ first single from their new album The Getaway.
Now the full video for Dark Necessities has been released – featuring shots of the band playing instruments, chilling on a couch, Anthony Kiedis and Flea dancing – and three longboarders skating through a supermarket, down abandoned streets at night, and in a deserted reservoir. The highlight has to be Flea playing bass while sitting in a sink.
The release comes shortly after the revelation this morning that Anthony Kiedis saved a baby’s like while filming carpool karaoke with James Corden.
