Kanye West Is Helping A Rapper Make An Album After He Auditioned For Him Outside A Club

Last year, Kanye West gave an unknown American rapper the chance to rap for him outside a club in LA, as Justin Bieber looked on, and it seems like he was impressed.

Cameron Grey was his name and less than a year later he’s gearing up to release his debut album Cocaine Ferrari which Yeezy apparently helped him with.

Grey reportedly has been in contact with TMZ and told them that West called him after that night to arrange a meeting and eventually set him up with his producer Anthony Kilhoffer.

Kilhoffer has produced records by Kanye as well as Rick Ross, Rihanna and Kid Cudi. It’s unknown yet if he has actually produced on Grey’s album but he’s dropped three tracks off it so far so you can be the judge.

The first is Never Bout Us which comes complete with a virtual reality video, the second is the excellently titled Vroomin In The Rari and the third is Like That.

Nobody is sure yet if he has been signed or not but Pigeons & Planes have pointed out that he’s followed on Twitter by Roc Nation and DONDA, Jay Z’s label and West’s creative agency respectively.
