Âme To Play Sydney Club Night This Weekend

German club supremos Âme have been announced as last minute additions to this weekend’s Adult Disco at Sydney’s Civic Underground.

Organisers Future Classic have pulled off the coup with the DJ and producer duo being in Australia anyway for the Playground Weekender Festival, also on Saturday 19th. Âme will jump swiftly onto a ferry back into town from the festival site at Wiseman’s Ferry, for what promises to be a special headlining set on Pitt Street.

Âme are made up of Karlsruhe natives Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann, who together are regarded as at the forefront of contemporary dance music, taking inspiration from the disparate scenes of Paris, Berlin, London, New York and Chicago and doing much to dispel the idea that house music is dying a slow death. With their Berlin label Innervisions, Âme are doing much to keep the flag flying and these shows offer a rare treat for Australian audiences.

On Sunday the 20th Âme head to Melbourne where they will team up with fellow German and labelmate Dixon for a set at New Guernica.
