Watch Tame Impala Get Pelted With Cushions On Stage In France

Aussie boys Tame Impala have been pelted with cushions during a concert in France, but apparently that’s a good thing — think of it as a sign of just how much French fans enjoyed the band’s impressive live show.

Performing at Lyon’s amazing Théâtres Romains de Fourvière (The Ancient Roman Theatre) on Monday night, 4th July, Kevin Parker and company were showered in cushions by around 4,000 fans as they played their Lonerism album cut Apocalypse Dreams.

Video of the moment the crowd decided to throw the cushions they’d been given by the venue has since emerged, and it’s pretty darn beautiful:

Cushions were being thrown around throughout Tame Impala’s set, mixing in with the band’s multicoloured confetti…

Tame Impala will wrap up their current European tour on 15th July, before playing a round of shows in the US and Mexico.
