Hear Drapht’s Surprise Collab With Dune Rats, ‘Mexico’

In one of the most unlikely collaborations of the year, Drapht has enlisted the help of everyone’s favourite bong-punchers Dune Rats for a song on his imminent collab-heavy comeback album Seven Mirrors.

Drapht and Dune Rats’ collaborative track is dubbed Mexico, and they’ve just dropped it into our laps ahead of the Perth MC’s official LP release on Friday, 15th August.

The odd couple’s musical offering (below) is bouncy, summery and even contains a brief nod to the magical world of tacos. The track comes hot on the heels of both artists’ announcement on the lineup of the inaugural street, skate & tunes party, Shakafest (live collab anyone?)

“Might have just created something special with our friend Drapht!” the Dunies wrote on Facebook by way of announcement, followed by not one but three flame emojis (so you know it’s gonna be good).

Meanwhile, Seven Mirrors also features guest appearances from Hilltop Hoods, Briggs, MC Joyride, iconic George frontwoman Katie Noonan, Byron Bay songwriter Bradley Stone and Brisbane’s Nat Dunn.

While you wait for it to drop, shove Drapht’s Dunies collab Mexico into your earholes, below.
