Baro And Remi Team Up On Fiery Protest Track ‘Fuck The Judge’

Following the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille in the US and in the wake of the current unrest in Dallas, Australian MC Baro has teamed up with fellow Melburnian hip hopper Remi on powerful new protest track Fuck The Judge.

Posting the song to SoundCloud this afternoon, Baro also included the following note. “Rest in paradise all people of colour who have had their lives cut short in the hands of authorities.”

The track comes as other artists both here and around the world lend their support to the victims and their families, calling on the authorities to stem the violence.

In response to the unrest, Beyoncé has shared a rare statement imploring police to “stop killing us”Jay-Z released a new track titled Spiritual, while Drake yesterday also posted a a moving open letter to Instagram on the death of Alton Sterling.

Also responding to the tragedy were Killer Mike, Blood Orange, Questlove, Shamir and Macklemore while closer to home, Alison Wonderland, Seth Sentry, Briggs, Urthboy, and The Amity Affliction’s Ahren Stringer have all joined their voices to the chorus calling for change and accountability in police culture.

You can read some of those post below, but as for Baro and Remi’s track though, you can listen to that right here.
