Last month, CHVRCHES rebooted Bury It off their second album Every Open Eye with Paramore‘s Hayley Williams and now they’ve given us a mighty animated video to accompany it.
The entire video is animated taking the style of a comic book as they discover they all possess the super-human ability to fly.
Williams joins the band for her newly-added verse and together they fly above (or “rise above”) the clouds looking down on the city. It’s the band’s first animated video although they’re no strangers to animation having soundtracked the game Mirror’s Edge Catalyst this year.
The Scottish band performed Bury It live with Hayley Williams at Bonnaroo this year, but they’ve also performed together before on the Paramore cruise.
Bury It is the fourth video to come from their second album following Leave A Trace, Empty Threat and Clearest Blue.
