Here’s A Day To Remember Reviving A Creed Classic With Scott Stapp

Footage has emerged of Florida rockers A Day To Remember helping Creed frontman Scott Stapp revive the classic Creed track Higher at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards (APMAs). The performance also saw Stapp perform on one of ADTR’s songs.

Video taken at the APMAs earlier this week sees A Day To Remember do their best acting job (which was admittedly pretty bad) while putting out the call for a guest vocalist to join them on stage, before Scott Stapp ~for some reason~ puts up his hand and joins the band to perform their song All I Want.

But the track is cut short, before the musos launch straight into Creed’s Higher, drawing some huge screams from the crowd and streamers and confetti from the ceiling. Watch crowd-shot video of the performance, below.

Higher was first released as the lead single from Creed’s second studio album, Human Clay. Scott Stapp and ADTR’s performance of the song comes after Stapp was named as the new lead singer of rock supergroup Art Of Anarchy earlier this year, following a very public breakdown over the last few years.

Meanwhile, ADTR are bringing their Bad Vibes Tour to Australia this December, supported by California metalcore outfit Of Mice & Men.

This year’s APMAs also saw shock rocker Marilyn Manson announce a new album and Rob Halford perform a Judas Priest classic with Japanese metal band Babymetal.
