The ‘RIP Taylor Swift’ Mural In Melbourne Has Been Painted Over, Again

The much-publicised ‘RIP Taylor Swift‘ mural in Melbourne’s Hosier Lane has been painted over yet again, with the image of Kanye West and the words “murdered Taylor Swift on Snapchat” having been added to the artwork.

Posting the latest version of the mural to Instagram (below), the mural’s original artist, Lushsux, says, “WHO DID THIS PLEASE STOP PLAYING WITH MY WORK,” but it’s becoming clearer and clearer that the piece is pretty much a huge (and brilliant) trolling mechanism.

The latest version of Lushsux’s mural comes after the artwork was reworked with the face of the SpongeGar meme and rededicated to Harambe the dead gorilla yesterday, with Lushsux telling Music Feeds that they weren’t responsible for the SpongeGar/Harambe rework, ~apparently~.

Originally, Lushsux’s mural simply proclaimed the public death of Taylor Swift, after the pop star went up against Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian after they shared a video on Snapchat which apparently proves Swift approved the controversial lyrics on Kanye’s song Famous.
