Kanye West Just Crashed Another Drake Gig, Confirmed They’re Making An Album Together

Right now, as you read, Toronto is knee deep in Drake’s annual OVO Fest, and just like every year it’s proven to be a place where miracles happen. Drake was joined on stage by buddy Kanye West who may have finally confirmed their rumoured collaborative album.

At first, Kanye simply came up on stage to join Drake for performances of Pop Style, Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1, Famous and Runaway. That alone is enough to make your palms sweaty but following the performance, Kanye took a moment to tease the collab release.

During his world-class stage banter, Kanye first brings up his own record The Life Of Pablo, before mentioning Drake’s latest Views. “Are y’all ready for ~this~ album” he says as the spotlight opens up on both Drake and Kanye. You can watch the moment in the video below.

Those who have been paying attention may remember earlier in the year when Drake mentioned that a collab between the two had been done / was being done / will be done. A sneaky little bit of social media play helped add fuel to this.

This won’t be the first time they’ve worked together – not by a long shot, but, goddamn it, how frickin’ sick is it gonna be???

When Kanye gets on stage, you just know something’s going to go down. Last time he joined Drake, he voiced his support for wife Kim Kardashian-West’s decision to share that recording of Taylor Swift seemingly approving Kanye’s track Famous, this kicking off the black hole that consumed us all for a ‘lil while there.
