In keeping with the trend of bands using Splendour In The Grass as a launching pad of sorts, Sydney outfit Sticky Fingers have announced a slew of headline tour dates for later in 2016.
They’ll tour in support of their forthcoming new album, to be titled Westway (The Glitter & The Slums), the release date for which was also unveiled today. The third LP from the band will be out on Friday, 30th September worldwide and can be pre-ordered from Thursday, 4th August from Sticky Fingers’ website here.
The album was completely recorded in Thailand, and can be purchased as part of a variety of bundles; some of which include vinyls, album tour tickets and t-shirts.
Sticky’s SITG 2016 set was absolutely raucous, with the band drawing one of the biggest crowds that the amphitheatre saw over the entire weekend. Now, they’ll play eight headline dates in capital cities around the country, kicking things off with a hometown show on Friday, 28th October.
Sticky Fingers are already a force to be reckoned with, but with a full new album in tow, they’ll be unstoppable on this tour.
