Here’s The Heartfelt Trailer For Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ New Album & Film

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have shared the moving black-and-white trailer for their feature film One More Time With Feeling, the accompanying piece to their upcoming sixteenth studio album Skeleton Tree.

One More Time With Feeling, directed by Andrew Dominik (Chopper, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Killing Them Softly), will be the world’s first chance to hear material from Skeleton Tree, and the film’s stark teaser trailer (below) appears to feature a taste of new music.

Filmed in black-and-white and colour, as well as in both 2D and 3D, One More Time With Feeling maps Cave’s response to events which have taken place during the album’s creation. Originally conceived as a performance piece, the film developed into something more as Dominik captured the tragic backdrop of Skeleton Tree‘s formation, which was no doubt impacted by the death of Cave’s 15-year-old son Arthur in July 2015.

One More Time With Feeling sees the Bad Seeds perform their new album, with interviews and behind-the-scene footage being accompanied by Cave’s intermittent narration. The film will make its world premiere at the 2016 Venice Film Festival in early September, before being released in over 800 cinemas across the world on 8th September, ahead of Skeleton Tree‘s release on 9th September.
